Blockbuster has over 85,000 titles that are separated into 17 genres. While it does trail Netflix in quantity, there is definitely a sufficient amount of selection to be had. Given the large stock of movies in a wide variety of genres, you'll be sure to find movies you enjoy.
Membership Features
Blockbuster allows you to buy both new and used DVDs online. You also receive discounts on retail purchases as a result of subscribing to their service. Rather than sending movies back through the mail, you're given the option of dropping movies off at your local Blockbuster. Depending on your plan, you may get the option of exchanging movies you ordered online for in-store movies. If you do choose to send movies back in the mail, shipping is free both ways. You can set up a queue of movies to ensure that a new one is sent once your old movie is returned. There are also no late fees or due dates, so you're free to keep a movie as long (or short) as you'd like.
Movie Arrival Time
Movies take only 1-2 business days to arrive, and for 90% of customers (depending on your location), it takes only a day. If you want to get your next movie even faster, you have the option of dropping off your movie at a local Blockbuster so that the movie return time is shortened.
Movie Information
Blockbuster's online service provides you all the pertinent information that you may want or need. A synopsis of each movie is accompanied by the cast, director, genre, rating, and more. The website also provides trailers to movies.
Search Capabilities
You can find the movie you're looking for on Blockbuster's site many different ways. Using the title of the movie, actors' names, director, or genre (among other options) you can find a movie that suits your tastes. Blockbuster also allows you to select a movie based on awards won, personalized recommendations, and user ratings and reviews.

Blockbuster has 11 different subscription plans, each of which is slightly different than the next. There's sure to be one that's tailored to fit your needs. The cheapest plan costs only $3.99/month while the most pricey plan is $34.99/month. The plans start by offering only 1 DVD at-a-time and the higher end options have up to 3 DVDs at-a-time.
